The Business Analyst II is responsible for translating basic business needs into application software requirements.
How you will make an impact:
Identifies, analyzes and validates overpayment recovery opportunities.
Determines specific business requirements to address complex business needs.
Works with Query Developers and Business Consultants to ensure business requirements are incorporated into query design.
Completes and coordinates UAT testing on claims identified as potential overpayments.
In-depth knowledge of WGS Commercial Claims, processing and or adjusting is required.
In-depth knowledge of pricing arrangements for WGS West (CA, CO, NV) providers is required.
Completes all required documentation to support work flows and reporting.
Collaborates with the business partners to approve concepts for recovery.
May provide direction and guidance to team members.
Requires a BA/BS and minimum of 3 years related business analysis experience, or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred skills, capabilities and experiences:
Strong oral, written, interpersonal communication skills and facilitation skills are required.
Problem-solving, analytical and cross team collaboration skills are required.
Experienced claims processor on WGS for West (CA, CO, NV) Commercial Business (CSBD); minimum of 3 years required.
High dollar claims processing a plus.
Experience with ClaimsXten (Claims Lab), Provider Contractual Arrangements and Pricing Agreements, member benefits, UM, Authorizations and pricing reimbursement methodologies is required.
High level of experience with Excel, Word and SharePoint required.
Should be both independent and self-motived as well as collaborative to achieve maximum team and department goals.
