The Quality Data Management Team ensures the collection, production, analysis and reporting of HEDIS measures and related data. This team is also responsible for a number of clinical data analytics platforms and accompanying statistical models. The ideal candidate will drive optimizations, expansion, and enhancements of HEDIS reporting, measure improvement, and our clinical analytics platforms.
Responsibilities include (1) targeting improved quality and health outcomes using computational statistics; (2) modeling clinical events from multiple sources of data; (3) synthesizing new information into the larger analytics platform; (4) designing and implementing efficient systems and organizational models; (5) aide other team members and business partners in analytic and report development.
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Lead multidisciplinary efforts to design and efficiently implement analytic and reporting stratagems.
Leverage algorithmic modeling and statistical learning techniques including linear and logistic modeling, NN, NLP, etc.
Perform in-depth analysis on operational and specific clinical issues
Write SQL code for data analysis, expansion, and maintenance of our clinical data platform and datasets.
Communicate clearly with non-technical staff and decision-makers in both presentations and through the use of visualization tools.
Demonstrate a willingness to problem-solve, collaborate, and think creatively to further serve our partners.
Requires a BS/BA degree in related field and a minimum of 5 years experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
Experience with relational databases and knowledge of query tools and statistical software is required.
Requires healthcare experience.
Deep knowledge of maths, probability, statistics, and algorithms.
Prior knowledge of healthcare data and clinical concepts.
Familiarity with relational database environments such as MS SQLServer, Teradata, Oracle, and experience in distributed environments like Hadoop.
Ability to manipulate large sets of data strongly preferred.
Strong analytical, organizational, presentation, and problem solving skills strongly preferred.
HEDIS measure experience strongly preferred.
Comfortable with strategic decision-making.
This job is more focused on higher level technical expertise, mentoring staff in lower job levels, more customer facing, higher level of collaboration, work is higher volume and/or higher risk, and modeling as compared to the Bus Info Analyst Sr job.
