Cloud Technologist - Amazon Web Services ( AWS ) Contact Centers
The Cloud Technologist - Amazon Web Services ( AWS ) Contact Centers is responsible for full delivery of end to end system development and maintenance on medium Enterprise wide technology platforms.
Primary duties may include but are not limited to.
Be responsible for the planning, implementation, and growth of the AWS cloud infrastructure
Play a lead role in influencing the department and team on cloud strategy.
Work as a technical leader helping customers architect scalable, highly available application solutions that leverage cloud services.
Determine the best technologies and software to fit a solution and define standard patterns for cloud enablement
Build, release, and manage the configuration of all production systems
Manage a continuous integration and deployment methodology for server-based technologies
Ensure necessary system security by using best in class cloud security solutions
Stay current with new technology options and vendor products, evaluating which ones would be a good fit for the company
Perform proof of concepts and evaluate new Cloud technologies and services.
Implement continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines when necessary
Recommend process and architecture improvements
Troubleshoot the system and solve problems across all platform and application domains
Understanding of the software development lifecycle and concepts such as Agile, SAFE, scrum, CI/CD, and DevOps, working in a multiple cloud environment
Experience designing and building web environments on AWS, including working with services like EC2, ELB, RDS, Lambda and S3
Experience using monitoring solutions like CloudWatch and Splunk
An understanding of writing Infrastructure-as-Code, using tools like CloudFormation or Terraform
Experience with Conversational AI and Machine Learning in the contact center including predictive engagement, self-service bots, and virtual agent assistants.
Experience in designing and implementing complex multi-channel inbound/outbound contact center technology solutions in very large enterprise environments
Design, development, deployment, and support of the full spectrum of contact center technology solutions, including:
self-service,
omni-channel, multi-modal,
routing,
computer-telephony integration (CTI),
agent desktop integration with CRM vendors such as Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce, and/or Pegasystems,
Predictive dialing and proactive notification
Deep and relevant contact center infrastructure and contact center as a service (CCaaS) applications, including premise-based and cloud-based solutions from vendors like Genesys, NICE inContact, Five9, Avaya, and others
Experience with voice and data networking, VOIP, TDM, and SIP circuit design considerations, as well as knowledge of communications protocols and codecs such as WebRTC, G711, and G729
Experience developing solutions using Amazon Connect, Pinpoint, Lex, Lambda, Cloudfront, Cloudwatch and other AWS Machine Learning services
Experience and expertise building integrations across SSO / AD, CRM, Case management, WFM and other related contact center solutions
Experience with software development using one or more development or scripting languages (e.g. Java, Python, Node.js, PowerShell, C#)
Experience using and leveraging APIs in a voice and data environment. Experience with APIGEE desirable
Qualifications
10+ years of overall experience, to include a minimum of 5+ years of enterprise, full-life cycle in Architecture in the professional IT/Software Development services industry
3+ years project experience architecting, building, and supporting cloud-based solutions on AWS
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent work experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Applicable AWS cloud and development certifications
TOGAF or other enterprise architecture training and certification
Current or previous proven experience and hands-on as a successful senior solution architect with prior experience as a software engineer and/or cloud engineer
