Our Digital Platform Insights team is a highly collaborative, fast-paced group responsible for leading data-driven, technology-enabled, digital team that specializes in the delivery of personalized experience across platforms in the HealthCare space. As the Director of Digital Platform Insights, you will lead digital measurement strategy, implementation, and reporting insights across operational and user experience. In order to be successful, you will be an analytics leader with a track record of managing, mentoring and inspiring a team, as they deliver exciting, high-impact, cross platform insights. You must be comfortable working at a detailed technical-level and at a strategic-level.

Responsible for connecting together the needs of all stakeholders (customers, business partners, technology enablers) and generating a digital solutions strategy to move Anthem to the next level. Accountable for providing vision and direction to a team of associates who construct the solutions based on that strategy and vision. Collaborates with key stakeholders inside and outside the organization to evangelize the vision and orchestrate execution and delivery.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Defines the digital strategic vision and roadmap and priorities and ensures team and vendors are aligned. • Communicates strategy and roadmap to business partners and coordinates work with functional areas across the business. • Identifies and resolves strategic issues that may impair the ability of their direct reports to meet goals. • Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports. Manage all functions of the Digital Platform Insights team; continually assess, hire and scale the organization as necessary. Identify, articulate, and own the measurement vision for our products and markets • Lead the execution of web and mobile app analytic strategies, including implementation, analysis and reporting for multiple stakeholders • Candidates are expected to use their passion for data/analytics and thought leadership to develop innovative ways of improving site tracking and performance • Manage a team of analytics and insights professionals to deliver analytics implementation and reporting strategies for digital product experiences • Develop regular thought leadership content across areas related to data, analytics, measurement and reporting for internal and external audience • Develop data models and design solutions that translate disparate metrics into business-transforming measurement frameworks • Provide data insights (using web analytics and third-party data sources) to inform experience needs • Advance the discussion of our vision at the executive level. Elevate the voice of the Data driven decision making team and company-wide. • Set ambitious but achievable goals, inspire a sense of urgency, expect high standards. Have a great nose for talent and team / individual performance.


Minimum Requirements: Requires a BA/BS degree in related digital solutions field and a minimum of 10 years of experience with digital product management with digital assets including 5 years of management experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Qualifications: • MBA or equivalent preferred. • Prior experience managing team at scale for software product. 3+ years of managerial experience • Strong experience in digital marketing and analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics, Medallia, and MMP • Hands-on experience building data analysis tools, including data acquisition, storage, querying, and visualization. (SQL, Tableau, Looker, Snowflake, PowerBI, etc) • Experience leading or managing a team of individual contributors. • Experience and comfort with data – understanding data, synthesizing and visualizing actionable insights. • Strong problem-solving skills. • Strong communication skills, including the ability to present to both technical and non-technical audiences. • Self-driven, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic and distributed environment.
