CareMore’s Eastern Region is looking to hire an Associate General Manager to lead and grow its Virginia business. He/she will be responsible for overseeing CareMore's business operations and driving performance, including HEDIS/STAR, Coding, and Quality performance and clinic operations in the state of Virginia.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
-Manages the P&L to ensure the sub-region achieves growth, clinical operations, member experience, quality, and network performance goals.
-Conducts in-depth strategic research on market and competition.
-Develops strategies to respond to competition and improve CareMore's market share by overseeing local branding, public events and marketing efforts.
-Leads strategic initiatives that involve significant monetary investments and that support key strategic direction to CareMore with oversight from the Market GM.
-Analyzes financial and operational data and prepares graphic presentations and talking points for the Market GM and Senior Leadership.
-Translates contract obligations to efficient business processes and activities and monitors performance to obligations over time
-Serves as project manager for special projects as directed by executive management.
-Hires, trains, coaches, counsels and evaluates performance of direct reports.

BA/BS in a related field and minimum of 5 years project management or healthcare delivery experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Highly preferred experience:
-Experience in an agile “start-up” environment, including the ability to lead within ambiguous settings, strong team building and presence, internal motivation and drive and a record of delivering results in challenging settings
-Sr leadership or Director level leadership inside a Health Plan, in functions such as operations, contracting, provider networking, business development and/or sales and marketing
-Experience with Financial analysis and managing a P&L
-Experience gathering data and analysis for a BU
-Experience in meeting and exceeding contract SLAs and deliverables.
-Experience with the Virginia healthcare market.
