Anthem is looking for a Production Artist for our Medicare and Medicaid creative group (Government Business Division). This person will be a key member of our team, responsible for building mechanical files, managing revisions, versioning, and converting design files into print or online ready files. This person must be experienced and detail-driven. They will assist designers in the graphic production of all types of communications from welcome materials to collateral and advertising and will have an important impact on member experience. We are looking for a team player with a collaborative spirit, a keen eye for detail, strong technical skills, and high-quality standards.
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Uses graphic design software applications to produce printed/digital sales and marketing materials, multimedia solutions, and/or interactive experiences. The software includes the Adobe Creative Suite with a focus on Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Animate, and After effects.
Supports business initiatives (plain language, standardization, going paperless, etc), and identifies process improvement opportunities.
May consult directly with clients and team members on all projects in progress within the department.
Requires a BA/BS degree; 3 years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Must be agile and able to pivot to meet deadlines and competing priorities.
Detail orientated with a focus on production edits and branding updates.
High proficiency in graphic design and pre-press production required.
Knowledge of animation, motion graphics, web banner development, HTML5 to complete production edits is highly recommended.
