Remote and 3 days onsite
Location: Harrisonburg, Virginia
Work Hours: M-F 8-5pm EST
Responsible for developing and administering an enterprise-wide business continuity program that allows for continued business operations and service in the event of a disaster. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Develops and implements strategies as set by senior management across the enterprise.
Serves as primary management point of contact for global issues related to business continuity.
Serves as resource and subject matter expert for issues relating to continuity of business operations.
Leads strategic planning with business units in developing response and recovery plans.
Manages implementation and revision of plans.
Conducts audits and integrated tests of plans.
Makes recommendations to increase efficacy.
Coordinates training and education of and serves on the corporate crisis management team.
Works collaboratively with internal shared services departments, such as IFT, in integrating plans to support business continuity.
Requires a BA/BS degree and a minimum of 4 years of experience across multiple operations areas; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Excellent communication skills to influence management, resolve conflict, and conduct training and education strongly preferred. Strong project management and organizational skills also strongly preferred.
