SHIFT: Day Job

SCHEDULE: Full-time

Responsible for managing foundational and strategic compliance responsibilities with consistent excellence that support the team and management.

Primary duties for this director level position, with moderate to advanced complexity and broad/enterprise scale may include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage/oversee projects and initiatives related to maturing the local market compliance program across all seven elements of compliance, internal audits, risk assessments; and reporting.

  • Manage and facilitate working groups to conclusion for various initiatives; manage agenda and facilitate weekly leader meetings

  • Develop and implement change management plans for compliance maturity initiatives

  • Establish project plans, gap analysis, milestone dates, and other significant aspects, and leadership updates.

  • Maintain knowledge of laws, regulations, company strategies to assess impact, and consult with clients as subject matter expert.

  • Interface with external clients, vendors, supplier; internal stakeholders, high level of management

Qualifications

Minimum requirements:

Requires a BA/BS and minimum of 8 years health care, regulatory, ethics, compliance or privacy experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MS/MBA/JD or professional designation preferred.

  • Ability to travel may be required.

  • Must be able to sit onsite in an Anthem office when required

  • Healthcare compliance background is preferred.

  • Program management experience is preferred.

  • Experience interacting with and able to communicate effectively to associates and leaders at all levels across the organization

  • Strong experience in developing presentations that are visual, succinct, and help tell a story using Powerpoint is preferred.
