SCHEDULE: Full-time

*This position may reside near any Anthem location, South Portland Maine preferred.

This position will provide financial analysis support for the Maine Business unit in the Commercial and Specialty Business Division.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

•Provides financial support to the state finance lead and Maine Business management via high quality, accurate monthly reporting and analysis of actual versus Forecast or Plan results, completed in a timely and well-planned manner.

•Works with state finance lead and Maine Business management in producing the state Forecast and/or Plan through detail analysis, projections and modeling.

•Works with Local Maine Business management to provide decision support analysis.

•Conducts and documents complex financial and business related analyses and research fields including financial and expense performance and enrollment activity.

•Focuses on business and or process improvement initiatives and leads and directs projects.

•Provides guidance to less experienced financial consultants

Qualifications

Minimum requirements:

Requires a BA/BS in accounting or finance and a minimum of 5 years budgeting, forecasting and accounting financial reporting experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred qualifications:

MBA, CPA, CMA, FSA, and/or CFA preferred. Hyperion experience preferred.
