Duties & Responsibilities

Systems Analyst Advisor

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: • Responsible for defining and managing the scope of Business Systems projects. • Defines functional, usability, reliability, performance and support requirements of a system. • Creates and performs feature testing and determines environmental needs. • Provides the link between the technical and business views of the system by ensuring that the technical solutions being developed will satisfy the needs of the business. • Partners with business, architecture and infrastructure and oversees all service levels to ensure business area satisfaction. • Works with the IT learning organization to mentor and assist in training initiatives and performs estimates for application functionality enhancements. • Proactively works with stakeholders to identify future system opportunities and enhancements. Develops use cases. • Ensure that the project team fully understand the project requirements specifications and that testing results correspond to the business expectations/needs • Analytical and problem-solving skills; Experience in the health care insurance industries desired; Excellent written, verbal • Ensures high level designs including architecture requirements are accurately documented and map to approved requirements. • Assists in developing training documentation and proactive identification of additional documentation needs. • Coordination with Customer SMEs, IT Managers, Offshore and the onsite team for Business requirement gathering/Use cases and document. • Document high level business/ process flows • Applies and mentors use of tools to define requirements. • Anticipates and identifies opportunities for improvement

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements • Requires an BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study and a minimum of 6 years’ experience in a variety of technologies, documenting requirements and/or building test cases; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Requirements • Scrum, Agile, DevOps • Health Care Knowledge - Domain certifications • Tools – JIRA, Confluence, Atlassian tools • Experience in Mongo DB concepts • Experience in UI business requirement development • Experience in real-time API enhancements • Database Concepts - SQL/Oracle DB
