DevOps Lead
The DevOps Lead is responsible for defining and managing the scope of Business Systems projects.
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Servers administration: Environments: Development, QA, Performance, Parallel, Production
Development and Testing Codebase: Pre-release activities: code drop calendar, code branches, code drop strategy
DevOps CI/CD Pipeline…path to production, Codebase
Pre-Implementation, Implementation and Post-Implementation activities
Build monthly release implementation plan
Monthly Release activities Implementation, Backout plan Collaborate with Architecture, and Delivery (Development and Testing) teams for building/maintaining the environments
Collaborate with all other System Admins for larger infrastructure, patching, maintenance, and external applications, for end to end integration
Work closely with Production Support team
Set and Lead the vision for the System Team/DevOps, Cloud DevOps
Team Lead responsibilities
Security compliance and provisioning, patching
Assisting with the continued system design, coordination, patching, tuning, monitoring, deployment activities
Knowledge on Batch job execution, Disaster Recovery planning.
Qualifications
Requires an BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study and a minimum of 10 or more years experience leading requirements development efforts leading a variety of technologies with a minimum of 5 project management experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
10+ years design and implementation of Continuous Delivery and/or DevOps solutions or architecture patterns.
10+ years of experience with code repository management, code merge and quality checks, continuous integration, and automated deployment & management using tools like Jenkins, SVN, Git, Ansible, Artifactory, Service Now, Sonar, Selenium
10+ years of experience with approaches and tooling for automated build, delivery and release of software
10+ years of experience in leading (as technical lead/team lead) application development, software delivery lifecycle, and/or infrastructure development and administration
10+ years of experience working in an Agile delivery environment
5+ years' experience in automation scripting using one or more of the following languages: Python etc
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience leading a multi-disciplinary teams, working in a fast paced, high velocity agile environment
10+ years DevOps leadership experience - large teams
Previous experience supporting code released a month (10+)
Approaches and tooling for automated software assurance and QA.
Experience with Cloud DevOps and Virtualization Technologies
Defining and managing the roadmap for implementation of DevOps in an established operation.
Working within a structured environment, including the use of structured methods and approaches and modern development tools.
Experience of technical architecture – i.e. the design and delivery of IT systems for a broad range of clients
Service support – the use of DevOps, Continuous Delivery and ITIL concepts to lead an effective support operation

8+ years Oracle database experience/SQL
