The Staff VP of Dental Operations is responsible for overseeing all aspects of customer service, enrollment, claims processing and adjustments, grievance resolution appeals for Dental. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Support the dental business plan in a cost effective and efficient manner, leveraging innovation, system and processes to perform with excellence.
Manage system integration and implementation across multiple operating platforms.
Manage operating plans.
Develop budget and annual operating plans for administrative improvements and deliver innovative efficiencies.
Execute change across a very complicated business and technical infrastructure, with associates that span geographies and multiple platforms.
Conduct excellent customer service to meet or exceed regulatory requirement, customer expectations internal performance standards, and external performance guarantees.
Reduce cost of care through effective program management and resolve grievances timely and in conformance with laws, rules and regulations.
Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.
BA/BS degree and a minimum of 10 years of professional/leadership experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
Minimum 7 years Healthcare Payer Operations experience
Experience leading a healthcare operations team responsible for supporting members across several different states
Dental Operations leadership experience with a Healthcare Payer
