The incumbent in this role will serve as the single point of accountability for technology and the first call in the event of an issue and will jointly develop solutions with the business and ensure a high level of business input across the technology lifecycle. You will be responsible for routing needs back to the appropriate technology service leader when business associates reach out. In addition to owning the integrated roadmap for the LOB and serve as the interface to senior business leaders. In addition, the incumbent will have direct responsibility for some LOB-specific functions outlined in the LOB Models.
Primary duties include, but not limited to:
Direct responsibility for Enrollment, EDI operations and outbound enrollment extracts, and support functions
Indirect or matrixed responsibility for all relevant shared service areas within GBD CIO organization as well as Enterprise shared services, Digital organization to serve the Medicaid LOB
Selects and partners on the implementation of solutions to streamline LOB operations and optimize their strategic benefits.
Communicate successes, shortcomings, strategy, and messaging with enterprise and line of business leadership
Identify areas of risk and take corrective steps, including timely escalation, to raise stakeholder awareness and drive risk mitigation action
Systematically develops whole team; develops individuals in order to build calculated team-wide bench strength and balanced capability
Strategic SME support for growth projects through early IT engagement
Actively engaged in GBD Growth Implementations
Plans and executes financial objectives and has ongoing budget accountability.
Assemble teams with expertise to drive value through Agile development patterns
Accountable for providing vision and direction to a team of associates based on the strategy and vision.
Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates the performance of direct reports.
This position can be located remotely however it is preferred to have the incumbent located within driving distance to one of our Pulse locations. Internal PeopleSoft Title: Staff VP, Engineering
Requires a BA/BS degree in a related field;
15+ years of management and leadership experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Excellent analytical ability, written, oral and interpersonal communication skills, negotiation skills, PC skills, advanced strategic planning, organizational, managerial and leadership skills.
10 years experience within a healthcare organization
Medicaid experience from a managed care or payor organization
Government experience within healthcare
Ability to influence and communicate to the technical and non-technical leaders
Has a technology competency that supports the accelerated development and delivery of solutions
Personal accountability to meet goals and performance standards.
